Surgeons caring for wounded IMPD patrolman Jason Fishburn said today that most patients with similar injuries do not survive.
"His condition is still guarded," said Dr. Gerardo Gomez, director of the IU-Wishard Level 1 Trauma Center at a 3:15 p.m. press conference outside the hospital. "Our main concern is survival."

This does not look good for one of our IMPD finest. Our prayers are with him.
