Sheila Jenkins from the non-profit Community Development Law Center is
exploring ways to challenge these property taxes. But she must
demonstrate the need. That people are in danger of losing their
properties, or that their lives will otherwise be severely impacted.
She has to show powers that be that there are real life consequences
in the making. Sheila, under the aegis of NESCO (Near Eastside
Community Organization) is spearheading a forum for:
>>next Saturday, July 12,
>> 9 am,
>> at Englewood Church
>> 57 N. Rural, Indpls, IN
Anyone in a precarious position especially should contact me ASAP so that I can pass their info along to Sheila. It is imperative to demonstrate the impact it is having on people's lives for Sheila to be able to fight this. We can't do anything without it. So please call or email me ASAP, and pass this on to anyone who is affected.
Thanks!

Now its up to us to fill these meetings. As this person said, you have to demonstrate a need for this kind of action. If you are happy about your property taxes, do nothing. If you think the current system is unfair then show up at this meeting.

Did anyone show up for this meeting? If so, what came of it. Is this website alive?
