Carson win no big suprise.

Well here we are one day after the election and the win by Andrew Carson for the seat of his grandmother. This win does not really surprise me because this seat has been held by the democrats for as long as I can remember. Sean got less then 3% of the vote I understand, this also does not come to any surprise.
What concerns me more is the fact that only about 18% of voters even took the time to vote in this special election. This is really sad when people do not think its important enough to exercise their right to vote.
Can the republicans beat the democrats in November? I really don’t think so. That is unless we can get enough people involved and some giving money to the republican candidate as we did for Mayor Ballard.
