City commitment
Paul Okeson, chief of staff to Mayor Greg Ballard, said the city expects to cover public safety costs between $1 million and $2 million for the big game.
"We don't have the exact numbers, but we think it will be on the lower end of that scale," Okeson said. "For a potential economic impact of about $300 million, we think that's worth it."
Mr. Okeson: It depending on who is getting that $300 million. If the taxpayers get no true return on this money, then we lose again. How about putting a extra one time tax on places who will benifit from this project include Irsay and the Colts?
