Cross over vote

Did the cross over vote give Hillary a win? I believe it did. I heard there was a lot of republicans, more so outside of Marion county that crossed over to vote against Obama. I can not say if it was because of his race or if it was the Rev Wright said. But I can tell you that there was a huge cross over vote by the republicans.

Those same people gave a small margin win to Jill Thomson by some .25% of the vote. With Carson winning in the seventh district, you can look for him to win the seat in November. This seat has went democrat for as many years as I can remember with J. Carson and before her was Andy Jacobs. So for years to come we will see the Carson name go on and you will hear how many times he was to busy to vote on bills.

Still with the big National news coverage, very few Hoosiers found that it was important enough to vote. The latest I heard was thirty one percent of all registered voted took part. Even with the new registered votes, I would say that the turn-out was small compared to the total voter role in Indiana.

So now we can more on with our daily lives until November rolls around.
