Democrats say sorry, pay up

7:23 pm. The republicans tried to bring a proposal up that would have made it possible for you to make payments on your make up bill for 2007 property taxes

Both parties voted party lines and the republicans were unable to bring this proposal in front of the council. Council Pryor said the city needs our money to keep government running. Council Sander said there was a plan for people in need to make payments. Council Nytes was in agreement with Pryor and Sanders.

So I ask the democrats this question: The democrat party is always saying they are for the working people in Indianapolis. How is denying this proposal to voted on tonight being in the benefit of the working class people?

So what we have here with the democrats on the council is sorry, no matter how much people are hurting, pay up. Never mind that some who will not be able to pay that make up payment on time, will get 10% added to their bills. I can see more houses going on the market.
