“You’re arrogant and I don’t like you, you aint here to help me. You are a racist motherF$%er like all of the rest. You guys are a bunch of racist MotherF&*kers, you aint here to help”
Where did these words come from? Arresting a gang member? Arresting someone that was a convicted felon? No it is from one of our city counselor members, City-County Councilor Doris Minton-McNeil's. You can read the arrest report here: http://wxnt.radiotown.com/DorisMcNeilIMPDArrestDoc.pdf
In another part of this report it stated the McNeil “Continued to be disorderly and yelled to the them names of officials that she knew and demanded that we contact them” It would be interesting to know who’s names she was yelling for them to contact. She continued to yell Racial slurs at the officers and stated “All the white officers on this Fuc&^ department are racists” She “repeatedly yelled that she was a city county council member and that officers were not allowed to arrest her.”
There may have been sexual abuse that happens some time ago. But doing the interview with the child when asked if it had happen today the child responded “no it happen with I was a baby, I’m just saying what mom told me to.”
Councilor Doris Minton-McNeil's also said she was not drunk but she refused a portable breath test. She stated “I changed my mind, I aint taking no test cause I aint Drunk.”
Also it stated that when arrived at the APC, she had urinated in her pants and in the wagon.
Even if the charges do not play out, is this the kind of person that we want on our city council? You notice that I had to even edit the police report because of her language. Is this the kind of person we want to set an example for our kids? How can the democrats on the council defend such action? How come only white officers are racist? It sounds like there may be some racist comments on her side. I know there is a strong reaction by both parties to protect their own, but there comes a time to stop playing politics and do what is right.
Lets not let this become another Monroe Gray issue.
