Did the Democrats lie to us?

Has the democrats that was elected in 2004 held true? They ran on getting out of Iraq and looking into impeaching our President along with a balance budget.

Well last Thursday our democratic lead Congress passed a war funding bill along with historic increases in college aid for returning troops. The bill passed by a vote of 268 to 155 at a cost of $162 billion to fund operations in Iraq and Afghanistan well into next year. Of course we can not have a bill pass without “ad-ons at a tune of $2.7 billion.

This would also set Bush’s successor several months not to fund the wars.

They don’t seem to care how much U.S. is paying for gas in Iraq because they dropped a demand that Bush negotiate an agreement with Baghdad to subsidize the U.S. military’s fuel cost so we are not paying more then the Iraqi citizens.
